When you think about cars built to drift, a Toyota Sienna is definitely not on the list; however, in a new TV ad from Famous Footwear that's just what we get to see. Modeled after professional rally driver Ken Block's gymkhana videos, the spot titled "Momkhana" features a soccer mom drifting through suburbia in a 550-horsepower Toyota Sienna. Complete with high-speed donuts and barrels of smoke, the video takes viewers on a wild ride that will have them wanting their very own high-powered minivan!
Hollywood stunt driver Shauna Duggins is the star of the Famous Footwear's Momkhana video. Playing the part of a soccer mom who is picking her kids up after school, Duggins makes sure the kids are tightly buckled in before sprinting off in the V8-equipped Toyota Sienna, and drifting through neighborhoods and cul-de-sacs. With smoke rising from the tires and all, Duggins whips her way along the streets and past garbage bins until she reaches Famous Footwear. She finally comes to a stop in front of the entrance, putting an end to her suburban adventure.
