Following months of teaser photos and rumors, the 2016 Toyota Tacoma is finally here! Completely redesigned, the latest model plans to dominate the midsize truck segment with its incredible on- and off-road capabilities. With a legacy that spans over 50 years, the Tacoma has a reputation to maintain, and with the release of the well-equipped 2016 model, it's clear that won't be a problem.

Composed of high-strength steel that increase its rigidity, the 2016 Toyota Tacoma is built for tough roads. Its suspension has been fine-tuned to deliver a smooth ride quality, while also improving its off-road performance. A brand-new 2.7L four-cylinder engine and 3.5L Atkinson cycle V-6 are the only two engine options offered on the pickup. They can be matched with either a six-speed automatic transmission with electronic shift or a six-speed manual, which help produce outstanding power and fuel efficiency that is unmatched by any of its predecessors. Additionally, the 2016 Toyota Tacoma sports new aggressive styling, a distinct hexagon grille, LED daytime running lamps and locking tailgate. A TRD Off-Road model is also available for those who like to go on rugged adventures and get a true taste of the outdoors.

The 2016 Toyota Tacoma is not yet available at dealerships; however, it's set to debut at Vandergriff Toyota later this year. Keep an eye out for its arrival!
