Edmunds.com recently held their annual "Best Retained Value Awards," and out of all the brands recognized, Toyota made out the best. The Japanese automaker was named the top non-luxury brand and took home prizes for four 2015 models in its lineup. As a company praised for its high-quality vehicles, Toyota continues to prove it's a top contender when it comes to producing cars, trucks and SUVs that hold their value over time.

Edmunds.com's "Best Retained Value Awards" honor brands whose latest models have high projected residual values after five years of ownership. Toyota is a company that has always succeeded in this department due to their roster of reliable, efficient, well-crafted vehicles. This year, the brand has four models earn resale value awards in their segment, including the Tacoma (Midsize Truck), Tundra (Large Truck), Highlander (Midsize SUV) and Avalon (Large Car). Toyota was the only brand to have four vehicles take home accolades, which sets it apart from the rest.

"Earning the Edmunds.com 'Best Retained Value' award is a great honor and a testament to Toyota's commitment to quality, durability and reliability, all key ingredients for great value," said Bill Fay, group vice president and general manager, Toyota Division.
