The Toyota C-HR Concept, which debuted at the 2014 Paris Motor Show, recently remerged as a five-door model at this year's IAA Frankfurt Motor Show in Frankfurt, Germany. With plans to release a production version of the compact hybrid crossover within the next few years, Toyota has begun to make changes to the concept that will likely carry over to the mass-market model.

The visually appealing C-HR Concept originally started out as a simple design study, but has since become much more. Toyota has decided to develop a production version of the model, which they plan to reveal at the 2016 Geneva International Motor Show next March.
Inspired by a diamond, the hybrid SUV dons a futuristic exterior design that will allow it to standout in the compact crossover segment. Featuring bold curves, sharp lines reminiscent of a precision-cut stone, a dramatic front profile and a strong stance, the C-HR Concept is a model unlike any other on the market today.
When Toyota first introduced the concept in 2014, it premiered as a three-door model with a two-tone roof. Since deciding to launch the model on the market, the automaker has added two more doors to the crossover and painted its roof one solid color to give a more accurate representation of the upcoming production version.
In addition to its styling, the C-HR Concept is expected to deliver excellent fuel efficiency, first-class handling and superior comfort due to its use of the Toyota New Global Architecture, which aims to improve future vehicle development.
