Runners within the Arlington area are invited to take part in the upcoming A Trailblazer VII Two-Fifths Marathon & 5K Run/Walk. Scheduled to be held on Saturday, Sept. 24, 2016 at Cravens Park, this special race will benefit two local organizations: Arlington Shelter Life and Meals On Wheels.
At Vandergriff Toyota, we are proud supporters of the Arlington community, which is why we are encouraging people from throughout the area to join the A Trailblazer VII Two-Fifths Marathon & 5K Run/Walk. With multiple races to choose from, this event is suitable for all ages and individuals at different fitness levels. For seasoned runners, the two-fifths marathon may be best, while casual runners may want to take part in the 5K run. If running is not your forte, you’re also welcome to walk the 5K with friends and family.
During the race, which begins at 8 a.m., attendees will encounter everything from bridges, inclines and flat stretches to wooded, curved and open areas.
