What Tech Is in the 2018 Toyota Avalon?

As the top-tier model in Toyota's sedan lineup, the Avalon has a lot to live up to. It's be known for having impressive components and amenities, and this remains true when it comes to the 2018 model. Avalon Engine Options

Standard versions of the new Avalon come with a 3.5L V6 engine with Dual Independent Variable Valve Timing, generating 268 horsepower and 248 lb.-ft. of torque. The hybrid model gets a more eco-friendly 2.5L four-cylinder engine, delivering a total of 200 horsepower. With this version of the car, drivers can also take advantage of ECO and Sport driving modes. On the standard model, Sport, ECO and Normal driving modes are available.

Safety Technologies

A number of standard safety tech, including antilock brakes, electronic brake-force distribution, vehicle stability and traction control, smart-stop technology and ten airbags, are equipped on the Avalon.
