2021 Toyota Avalon

What's New For the 2021 Toyota Avalon?

For the ever-popular Toyota Avalon, the 2021 model year brings some updates to safety and performance areas. Some additional safety aids are now standard on the 2021 Toyota Avalon, which is already a leader in its class for safety. With the regular gasoline-powered Avalon, now comes the option to get all-wheel drive if you select certain trim levels. Some technology refreshments are in store for the Avalon as well, which has Android Auto smartphone pairing as a standard feature for the first time. The Toyota Avalon, which ranks #1 in its class, is a top pick no matter which trim level you choose. The 2021 Toyota Avalon Hybrid, a leader in its class, gets an updated lithium-ion battery this year. The Avalon Hybrid adds Android Auto as a standard feature for the first time, too.

What Are the Toyota Avalon Trims & Features?

The 2021 Toyota Avalon and the 2021 Toyota Avalon Hybrid have the first three trim levels in common, while there are two additional trims with the gasoline Toyota Avalon. They both have the same base trim, called the XLE that has the same list of features. A nine-inch touchscreen interface is standard. Android Auto now comes with the base, along with Amazon Alexa and Apple CarPlay. There are two USB ports in the front and two in the back, and heated front seats. Simulated leather upholstery is standard.

The XSE Nightshade Edition adds black wheels and blacked-out exterior accents. With the Limited trim, also standard on both models, comes leather upholstery, a 14-speaker sound system, and heated seats for all. Wood trim accents give the cabin an upscale look. The Touring, which is the fourth Avalon trim, gains aluminum interior accents and 19-inch wheels. The TRD has sporty seats and sporty exterior touches.
