2021 Toyota Tundra

What's New For the 2021 Toyota Tundra?

The Toyota Tundra adds two new trims in 2021, bringing the total number of Tundra trims to six. The Tundra has a more powerful V8 engine than before, which allows it to achieve an impressive payload and towing capacity. The Tundra has some changes across the board, along with changes that only affect certain trims. The TRD Pro, for instance, now comes with a new color option that replaces the Army Green shade available in 2020.

The two new variants each offer something unique for consumers. The first, called the Nightshade Edition, get a unique black paint color and an entirely black interior, including black leather seats. The Nightshade Edition even has black wheels with matching black mirror caps. The Trail Special Edition resembles the TRD Pro in off-road prowess, but it also has unique styling elements that distinguish it from its peers.

What Are the Tundra Trims & Features?

The first Tundra trim in 2021 is the SR5. With the SR5, you can look forward to an attractive exterior shaped by 18-inch wheels and automatic headlights. The interior is comfortable and well-equipped with a standard seven-inch touchscreen display. Android Auto and Apple CarPlay are included. The seats are finished in cloth. The second trim, which is the SR5, has more standard features and more options. The SR5 adds a larger eight-inch infotainment screen with the same technology. It also gets standard fog lights.

More options are available for this trim, including a TRD off-road package, bucket seats, navigation, and Bilstein shock absorbers. The Trail Edition keeps the 18-inch wheels but adds all-terrain tires and vintage exterior accents. The Limited has 20-inch wheels, heated seats, leather seats, and a 38-gallon tank. The Nightshade gets the Limited's amenities plus a darker finish and a moonroof. Premium leather upholstery is added to the Platinum. The TRD Pro has custom decals, forged aluminum wheels, and Fox shocks.
