What's New For The 2020 Toyota Corolla?

Although it shares the same name as models of the past, the 2020 Toyota Corolla is otherwise virtually an entirely new car. The 2020 Corolla gets a redesigned cabin, and its exterior gets a more futuristic appearance than in the past. A new suite of interior technology, including a larger infotainment display screen with more advanced software, is a highlight of the Corolla. There are three engine variations that power the 2020 Toyota Corolla. The base engine is the same engine that has powered the Corolla in recent years. It is a 1.8L, four-cylinder engine with a maximum power output of 139 HP. The second gasoline engine, which is new for the 2020 model year, is a 2.0L four-cylinder engine that generates a maximum of 169 HP. The third engine is exclusive to the hybrid. The hybrid's gasoline engine creates a maximum of 121 HP. Its electric motor produces 71 HP. When using both engines, the hybrid has a combined power output of 105 HP, and its fuel economy averages 20 MPG more than the Corolla versions that run on regular gasoline. With all engines, you have a choice between a six-speed manual transmission and an automatic transmission. The 2020 Toyota Corolla rides on a new platform this year and it has a longer wheelbase.
