The rumors surrounding Toyota reentering the World Rally Championship have finally been confirmed by the automaker's president and CEO, Akio Toyoda. Following a recent race at Rally Finland, Toyoda spoke about the company's plans to return to WRC for the 2017 season, noting Toyota's fans and their love of the brand's history in the series as the main reason why he decided to green light the initiative.
